PERSONABLE ATTRIBUTES
In the field of Higher Education, the ability to communicate is an important feat. Not only that, but the ability to connect with students is also a must have. Through my experience, I have gained the knowledge and interest with matters concerning a student's experience.
TEAM PLAYER
When it comes to working within Student Affairs, all constituents matter. Housing, Student Organizations, Orientation, Multicultural Affairs, Recreation Centers, Financial Aid and Admissions all affect the well-being of students. That means one must work together with a team with the same goal in mind. I love working with a team and aid with the cohesion of a whole unit.
FINE-TUNER, BUT CAN INNOVATE WHEN NEEDED.
One question that is asked in many interviews: Are you an Innovator or Fine-Tuner? Are you best at creating solutions, or editing solutions for better outcomes. I am a better "Fine-Tuner". What that means is that I am better at making an event or idea better to have a better and bigger impact for my desired audience. But, if I have to create an idea to better one's experience, mood or idea, then I would. I consider that Innovation for the purpose of Fine-Tuning.
